50 Books in 30 Days: Cat City

30days50books-2-CatCityToday’s feature in the 50 Books in 30 Days celebration is near and dear to my heart. Cat City came to be when my darling furbabies, Blue and Peanut, were just little kittens.

My veterinarian took one look at me holding the two squirming monkeys and asked me why I hadn’t written a book about cats, since I loved them so much.

Blue and Peanut as babies :D

Blue and Peanut as kittens 😀

In that exact moment, an image popped into my head of a little girl holding a butterscotch tabby. And, from there, The Adventures of Susan and Tucker began.

While I’ve only written book one of this middle grade action adventure series, the other two are waiting to be tackled. The Rat King and The Be All and End All will probably be on the schedule for next year as I attempt to wrap up series I’ve started along the way.

Happy reading!

  4. My favorite book by Patti is Ghost Boy of Mackenzie House. She capture the heart and scenery of Prince Edward Island so well. Great work 🙂

  5. I’ve loved Patti Larsen since I first read Family Magic and the whole HCN, soo much that I find it hard to find other books to have an interest in. The way she writes, pulls you in and you actually feel a friendship with the characters. And personally if you send a question or a comment she actually responds, and I also feel a friendship with her, even though we’ve never met. I’m so happy to have her in my life. 🙂

    • XOXO Rich! Thank you so much–it means a lot to me, knowing you love my books. And I’m so happy to have made the connection with you 😀

  6. Love Patti Larsen giveaways! Her books – all of them – are awesome! I’m almost finished my second series and I already have at least one more series on my Kobo because I can’t stop reading her books! Unbelievable.
